In 2018, I had the privilege of meeting Dr. Mills, a brilliant mind deeply immersed in a groundbreaking project that would soon captivate audiences worldwide.

Dr. Mills, along with a dedicated team at Queen Mary University of London, was delving into the mysteries of centuries-old sealed letters using state-of-the-art X-ray CT scanning technology, to unlock the secrets concealed within these ancient artefacts and shed light on the lives and events of the past.

In a world where the past often remains shrouded in mystery, projects like these serve as beacons of light, illuminating the path to a deeper understanding of our shared heritage. Eager to contribute to this remarkable endeavour, I lent my support to the university in producing a documentary film showcasing the groundbreaking work being done.

As I delved deeper into their work, I realised the immense potential it held for reshaping our understanding of history. These seemingly mundane letters were not just relics of the past; they were windows into bygone eras, waiting to be opened and explored.

The release of the documentary was met with overwhelming praise and admiration. The project garnered significant attention from academic circles, leading to several publications that further cemented its significance in the realm of research.

I am reminded of the endless possibilities that await us, if only we dare to look beyond the surface and embrace the wonders of technology and innovation.
